The Powder Toy
A physics sandbox: draw powders, liquids, gases and electronics, then watch what happens.
▶ Play The Powder Toy free, in your browser, nothing to install
The Powder Toy is a falling-sand physics sandbox: you draw with almost 200 elements and the simulation works out air pressure and velocity, heat, gravity, electricity and the reactions between substances. Build bombs, reactors, wires and logic circuits, or just watch water put out a fire.
This port is a line-by-line translation of the simulation of version 100.1 build 400: every element, the air and heat maps, walls, tools, Game of Life types, stickmen and Newtonian gravity, with the original's menus, keys, render modes and bitmap font.
Your saves and stamps are kept in your account in the original's save format. The online save browser, voting and the Lua console of the original are not part of this port.
